Seances - What is it?

Seance is characterized by a gathering of people with the purpose to investigate or experience supernatural phenomena. It can also be defined as a meeting where a group of people attempts to contact a spirit and communicate with it. When conducting a seance, the participants sit around a table and link their hands. This linkage of hands is believed to boost the psychic forces which would encourage the paranormal manifestations.
